Elevator Pitch

My postdoctoral project, funded by the Central Research Unit (ZF) of the University of Bremen from October 2024 to October 2027, examines how values and ideologies shape the governance of AI systems in the European Union. Over the past year, the project has evolved to focus more specifically on how values are articulated, negotiated, and institutionalized within emerging AI regulatory frameworks and industry practices. I build on mixed-methods comparative policy analysis, expert interviews, and a survey to understand which guiding principles are prioritized, who shapes them, and how are they shaped through ongoing geopolitical developments.
