Elevator Pitch
My postdoctoral project, funded by the Central Research Unit (ZF) of the University of Bremen from October 2024 to October 2027, examines how values and ideologies shape the governance of AI systems in the European Union. Over the past year, the project has evolved to focus more specifically on how values are articulated, negotiated, and institutionalized within emerging AI regulatory frameworks and industry practices. Through comparative policy analysis, expert interviews, and focus groups, I aim to investigate how normative principles, such as transparency, accountability, and innovation, are embedded in European approaches to AI regulation, and how they shape the interplay between technology, governance, and society.
